Common questions

Why isn't my swim showing up?
A swim you log is saved on your phone at once, even offline, and is sent the moment you're connected. It waits on your phone until then.

My distance or pace looks wrong. How do I fix it?
Open the swim in your Workout Log and tap Edit. Check the pool length and its unit: a 25 yd pool counts in yards. Your distance and pace update when you save.

How do I switch between metres and yards?
Profile, then Settings, then Units. Each swim shows in the unit of its pool (a 25 yd pool in yards), with your units alongside; totals use your units.

Who can see my display name?
It's your public name on the Community Leaderboard, on Meet rankings and challenges if you enter the Meet, and on the reviews you write. Other swimmers see it on the leaderboard only if "Show me on leaderboards" is on. Change it any time in Settings.

I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?". We email you a code; enter it, then choose a new password.

How is my data protected?
We don't sell your data and there are no ads in the app. It is stored with Supabase, and our emails are sent through Resend. If you turn on AI coaching, a summary of your training and the chat messages you type go to Anthropic. Our Privacy Policy has the full picture.

Who can see my live location?
Only people who have that swim's live link (you choose who you send it to), only during that swim, and never with your name. The link stops showing your position when you end the swim, and after 6 hours at most. We never contact your safety contacts: you send the link yourself.

Get a copy of your data

In the app: Profile → Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data. You get two files at once, a JSON file with your data and a spreadsheet (CSV) of your swims, to save or send. You need an internet connection.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account, then Delete my account. You can also start from the Delete account row in Settings → Account, or from the account-deletion question in Profile → Help & support.
